The Book:
Must own! If you’re shopping Warren William then this is where to start. John Stangeland has written a perfect book in this, the first ever Warren William biography. Hype? No way, I abandoned my own notes and decided to stick to this website after reading Magnificent Scoundrel of Pre-Code Hollywood–John covered everything there is to be researched regarding the life and career of our favorite pre-code star.
About This Page
This page replaces this original post on the new WarrenWilliam.com website. Below I’ve embedded Amazon sales links to all official DVD releases starring Warren William . Following the Amazon DVD listings are vintage Warren William collectibles currently being offered on eBay. First up, my own eBay goods picturing Warren. These are in limited supply because I actually collect these for myself, but my duplicates do go to eBay along with my other classic movie collectible offerings. Below my stuff is one of my general deeper Warren William vintage collectible eBay searches.
Note: I receive a small percentage of all sales made through the Amazon and eBay Affiliate links found on this page. It helps support the site and it helps support me, so I thank you very much for any and all purchases!

This sounds brilliant. My Father was born around the same time as William and was a Solicitor.I would love to see more of the films referred to .above. Can anyone tell how I can start a collection of Mr William’s Films?

Thanks for visiting the site, John! I’m not sure where to point you in regard to Australian sources. The past several years have seen many of Warren Williams films come to DVD here in the US, most especially releases through Warner Archive – I don’t know if those discs would play for you or not – best bet is to just try searching “Warren William” in the movie section of whatever online outlet you use to purchase your DVDs through. Good luck, sorry I couldn’t be of more help!

I came across “The Mind Reader” movie on Amazon Prime. I absolutely loved it and started to look into Warren William more. I find him a fascinating actor and his presence is felt in every scene. He was a wonderful actor, and not to mention, he looks so much like Mandrake the Magician from the old 1930’s comics. He would have made an excellent Mandrake in my opinion. I also purchased the biography you had a link to as well. I can’t wait to dive in. It’s nice to see someone keeping these classic actors and actresses alive out there!!

Hi, Ruth,
Welcome to the Warren-club! “The Mind Reader” is definitely a goodie, glad you found it! My personal favorite is “Employees’ Entrance,” even though I list it at #2 on my old list of Top 10 Warren William favorites – HERE if you haven’t come across it yet (the list, that is). Enjoy!
