Warren William by Susan M. Kelly — This is the Warren William profile found on my movie cards and collectibles site, things-and-other-stuff.com. As we begin Warren-William.com it will serve as the best possible introductory biography of William.

The Definitive Strange Wills Radio Article and Log With Warren William and Lurene Tuttle

Find A Grave Memorial — This page on the popular Find a Grave site notes that Warren William's ashes were scattered in the Long Island Sound.

IBDB — Both the Warren William and Warren W. Krech pages on the Internet Broadway Database.

Krech.org — I was surprised to find this site, which is a place gathering Krech family information and includes complete issues of The Krech Gazette, the newsletter of the Krech Geneology Society.  I spent an hour or so over on the site and all I can say is, wow, big family!  Mention of Warren William (Krech) is contained in one of the newsletters (I think the October 2005 issue), but he is also prominently mentioned on the site’s blog by his niece who provides a brief family tree: Warren William’s parents were Freeman E. Krech (b.1856) of Belleville, IL and Frances Potter; Freeman E. Krech was descended from Ernest Wilhelm Krech (1819-1897) and Mathilde Grow (1830-1918) of Tennstedt, Saxony.  The couple married in 1851.  That appears to be as far back as this particular line of Krech’s can be traced, but if you have any interest in digging deeper you can really get lost in their newsletters–lots of info and timelines, not to mention photos.  I’m in no way related, but in my pursuit of information I found myself reading articles about people who didn’t even have any direct link to Warren William!

moviediva — Classic film site reviews the following films starring Warren William:Case of the Curious Bride (1935); Employees’ Entrance (1933); Gold Diggers of 1933 (1933); Skyscraper Souls (1932)

The New Plays – pdf of page from The New York Times, March 28, 1920, which mentions Warren W. Krech as member of the cast of “Mrs. Jimmie Thompson” opening tomorrow night at the Princess Theatre.
